Development through partnerships

The basis of Syfo Ltd's expertise is the development work carried out under the EU's Equal Community Initiative (2001-2007) both in Finland and on a transnational level.

We provide a home to the results achieved in HOT- and Response- Development partnerships as well as those reached through national thematic work on social enterprise development. 

We are happy to co-operate also in the future with organisations sharing the same social objectives. In partnerships, we appreciate genuine dedication to development, effective exchange of good practice, and enhancement of shared European goals.

Transnational co-operation

In spring 2009, we started co-operation with agencies in the South West of England in the Social Enterprise Leadership Partnership (SELP). The development partners are COSMIC (co-ordinator), RISE, CEMVO, and Social Enterprise Works. Syfo's role is to provide the Finnish viewpoint as a transnational partner. The project is focusing on an innovative approach to social enterprise leadership training and it will also explore the possibilities of widening the use of Social Enterprise Mark in Europe. The project receives ESF funding and will continue until end of March 2011.
